Am I correct in assuming that the calendar layout in the events content is not associated with and css class?

I'd like to style those caledar boxes differently from the regular content boxes on my site, however, there exists no control panel section to alter the settings and there are no listed css elements for them. I looked at the page source and don't see a css class tag anywhere near them. This wouldn't be a difficult thing to do, and I can't imagine that people haven't wanted to do this before, so surely I'm just missing something, right?

Thanks.

I would also like feedback on this issue.
I am working up a new theme on a testing site, my current calendar has white text on a white background - and the header color does not fit with the site theme.

Double posting to grab attention from those that may have already read my response above.

I've discovered the css to change a color in the calendar background and border color. This will alleviate the white text on white background issue a lot of you have encountered. Just add the following into your stylesheet and replace hex colors as needed.

table#ctl01_Calendar2{
background:#081122;
border-color: #6B7688;}

table#ctl01_Calendar2{
background:#081122;
border-color: #6B7688;}

Only thing that I could not change is the table data styling which means that the  header background color where the month and year are displayed  couldn't be changed. From what I have read, the td needs to have a class assignment in order to be able to change it with css.

In theory, I thought that the below might work, but it didn't.
td#ctl01_Calendar2

Fingers of Fury!

The devs posted a while back on their blog that they're planning to expose more classes to us. Hopefully they're reviewing ALL of the modules available through the admin module.

Alrighty.  I don't use CSS for anything on my website, and threw that code in there to change the calendar.  It ended up taking away my entire background, borders, ect. on the whole website, so i had to take it out.

And it didn't change it to the colours i had put in either =P

I either need the background box of just the tiny calendar area darker, or the text darker.  I'd hate to go through and change to some other theme just to replug all of my info back in.  So what am i doing wrong? Are there other lines i need to add other than that tiny bit of code Rosary_KT posted?

I suspect that you aren't using the custom style sheet for anything other than the code that I posted?

Your site needs to be designed with the custom sheet - otherwise you are at risk of losing those other styles.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunatly adding the above to my style sheet had no effect.  I looked at the source for the page and the calendar was ctl01_Calendar1 so I changed css to reflect that name.. it still didn't work.

Any other suggestions?

Please post a link to your site and the css used. It could just be a syntax error.

I gave up and changed the theme and no longer have a white background.   So it is no longer an issue for me.   I was using FSClean theme so I suspect it will be an issue for anyone using that theme.
