Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

I have several questions so I hope you fine folks can help me. Thereare a few things I'd like to do with my guild's site. I have HTMLexperience, but using GP to do this is a new thing for me. Anyway:
Flash banner
I know the code to embed one of these and used it in the banner areasection, but I can't get it to appear. Do I have to be a subscribingsite for this to work?
Content Container BG
I want only the left containers to have a background I made for them. What is the code for this? Where do I insert it?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if this is the problem but I recently read an article about a patch from Adobe for the Flash browser plugin (IE). Basically, Flash content was "broken" or rendered moderately useless because of some legal infringement that Micro$ transgressed & as such, they made a "security patch" to IE that broke Flash. The article suggested visiting Adobe's web site & get the latest Flash plugin update.
As for the Border Boxes, I had a heck of a time with them. Basically, you don't use any code for this just have your images hosted somewhere (we use PhotoBucket.com) and in your GP Control Panel's Style & Colors -> Box Border Images, you put the URL's to your Box Border pics.
CAUTION:
If a field is left blank, then no images will be used for that segment -- since you are only interested in the left edge, you will need to make pics for all the other parts/bits of the box border.
Also, I learned the hard way to treat the entire graphic that would represent the "box" as a complete rectangle. By this, I mean that for the left edge bits (TopLeftCorner, TopLeft, BodyLeft & BottomLeftCorner) you need to make sure that they are right-aligned -- i.e. if you look at them as a single, complete picture (such as in a graphics program), their right edges are aligned the way you want them to appear. This same thing also applies to the other sides -- with their respective alignment considerations.
Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure but you need to be a subscriber to use the banner area.

You can if you use the CSS options. Open your control panel and go to the Style and Color area. Under Advanced Style Settings you'll change the bg color of the table cell to the color you want. Here's an exerpt of the code:
<td
bgcolor="#ffffff"
height="46"> <br>
<img src="http://www.boundlesssouls.com/site/spacer.gif" width="180" height="1"><br>
<font color="#36648B">$block[content]</font>
<hr noshade>
</td>
