are you trying to post pics directly to Guild portal try puting them on photo bucket first then copy and past them Photobucket will host the pics for you on Guildportal 

Not sure what your asking here.  You dont need text/free form html to display pics, you can include them in forum posts etc simply by using the Image manager tool.  Click the url box under your chosen pic on your photobucket site, you should see the popup say "copied", now open your post where you want to show your pic, enter any text you want, then i suggest entering a few blank lines then coming back up 1 line (otherwise its a pain to add text after the picture), then click the Image manager icon (looks like a mountain with the sun over it), put your cursor in the url box, deleting anything there already, then press Ctrl + V to paste your photobucket url.
