Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Well, seems that the new jQuery 'solution' is happily breaking things right and left..
I seem to now have troubles with my Splash page.. The thing now does not hide the Control, banner and tab sections immediately, but after a second or two.. so it looks 'choppy'.. and the SWF mp3 for some reason plays ok in FF but now does not in IE..
I've been looking at CSS and jQuery but im clueless on this one.. maybe its just Sunday morning and I havent had my complete mug of coffee yet...
so if anybody has any suggestions...

Okay.. told you I hadn't had my coffee yet ..
Turns out I messed up the <
style
> tags when I slapped that extra <
script
> call for JQuery.. trying to fix the wonderful new JQuery call code we have.. *ahem. but I digress...* so that was why I was looking 'choppy'.. (I'm a dummy
)
I went back to your site and reupdated as per your notes, Mottie, and looks much better.
I found however, that in my case, the external box to the HTML was showing at the top, so I had to add 1 extra class ...
per your instructions, you have
<
style
type="text/css">
.StateBar, .BannerArea, .TabBar, .PageFooter, div.ContentBoxBody, .ContentBoxTitle, input { display:none; }
...
</style>
I had to add
<
style
type="text/css">
.StateBar, .BannerArea, .TabBar, .PageFooter, div.ContentBoxBody, .ContentBoxTitle,
.ContentWrapperTable,
input { display:none; }
...
</style>
not sure if that applies only to me or to everybody else..
I am still having a 'line' showing up that i haven't been able to identify...
and I lost my SWF mp3 ominous sound ...
*goes off to make another pot of coffee....

Well, fixed the odd line (gotta love
Firebug
) and updated the little Mp3 player to a better, newer version (now using
EMFF
button_silk) for this page .
However it seems I'm still having an issue with getting that sound file to play in IE.. FF runs fine, so any suggestions are welcome.
