Hi there!

If your guild is listed in the Spotlight Guilds, we've got a selection of images you can use anywhere on your pages, if you like.  You can put them in their own Freeform content type, or pretty much anywhere you want.  If you use the image, you don't need to link it to GuildPortal, but if you want to (thanks!), please point the link to the GuildPortal home page at http://www.guildportal.com.

Aaron,

Is there a typical timeline/ review process for this?  I imagine there are many, many submissions, and not time to respond to each one- but is there an avg time to wait- i.e. 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 1 week? before a guild were to be selected?

I waited for a long time my self and the spolight guild thing just showed up on my page one day but i was not on the spotlight guild listing

Ican only imagine how many guilds apply for that position...and for theguildportal team to look through them and pick. Must take litterallydays/weeks to do it. I've gone onto the 'search' button,and seen howmany guilds in each game on servers were listed...YIKES! Theresthousands.

Alas, someone other than me inquiring about the same topic...

I have submitted my guild for spotlkight review. This was more than 3 months ago. I have yet to receive any answer. I could understand being told no and I would love being told yes, but I can't stand neing told nothing. Not even a 'we have received your submission please allow time to process' reply. This makes me wonder if they ever received my submission.

Now, after reading these posts I understand just how busy they are and I regret my impatience. I will sit by and wait my turn for review.

Totally freaking agree.

For the $45 fee for 6 months of service, you would think they would at least check it out once to see if they should reward the designer's hard work so the guild can get their $45's worth with a simple little graphic.
