Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

I would like to know this information as well. I have a specific song that has been requested to be on the home page and can't find a URL for it.
Any suggestions??

Is the song you have in mind just a song that someone told you about or is it hosted somewhere?
The only why to get music on your site is to first upload that song to a hosting site, then paste the URL that that site gives you to the page you want it to play on.
You could try:
http://www.mediamax.com/Brands/MediaMax/home/home.aspx
But I've found that their free hosting has very limited bandwidth so if you site sees daily traffic you will axseed the bandwidth within a week or two and be with out your music for the rest of the month.

A whole song is usually WAY too much for what most folks want to hear. I found a song online that I liked, took a snippet at the front end, then contacted the artist to obtain permission to use it. I uploaded the snippet to my Comcast webspace to link to for our site. I'm sure it's not optimized because I'm still a web design noob, but if you visit
our site
and wait a little, you'll see what I mean. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you'll see where I've credited the artist. It's really nice Celtic music!

I was referred to use a quick time plug in as the best music addition to the site by Didokova. I just haven't figured it out completely yet. Pull up one of his threads to get the link to his site to see what I mean.
It has control settings from the viewer of your page which is nice cuz sometimes the music can be annoying.
