Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Hey all.
Wondering if someone can help me out. I THINK this is a problem with GP and I'm goig to have to write a support ticket, but wanted to give it a shot on here...
My cotent boxes are not UPDATING properly when I paste new code in. Here's what happens:
I click the
button
I click the
button, to enter code
I paste from my notepad...then save.
When I go BACK to the same code after refreshing the page...about 75% of my code is gone!
Now, this is code that I've had on my site for over a year, so it's not the code. This only started happening 1-2 days ago.
Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. I use a "Who's on vent?" feature that uses HTML and it hasn't been working since I updated the graphics on our site. This is a very frustrating problem. Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct, this is a GP bug. There was a thread started in the General forum regarding this.

I have a working box on my site that I can not duplicate anymore because it will not save the script (as long as I don't edit and save it, it continues to work). It seems to be only affecting containers using custom HTML.

This is strange, however, because it started only a few days ago. I update the content to this html box frequently, and this is the first time I've ever had a problem with it.
I forsee major problems when others try to update their html content containers in the near future.

Yeah, the freeform html boxes seem to no longer be saving script, so if you use javascript to rotate images, show Vent/TS status, etc. you cannot change the code in existing boxes or create new ones. I've submitted 2 tickets already. Aaron is usually good at getting back to us so i'm wondering if he's out of town or something.
