Getting Started!

How do I get a picture at the very end of the page? and text? Like people have Blizzard's icon and a copyright thing at the end of their page.

And how do I get an animated banner? Is there a program that makes it? I think abobe animation can? I asked this in my other thread.

The picture at the bottom/end of a page is your Footer.
Go to the Control Panel, under 'Style and Colors'.
There are sections labeled 'Page Footer Text' for basic sites, and 'Footer' if you're using Advanced Style Settings.

An animated banner would have to be created by you or your friends. I'm sure there are a number of free programs out there that could do the job.
Anyone with sources?

The difficulty with animated banners is that you need to have the software to make it AND the size. I'm going to date myself and say I hate putting overly large animated files on a page. Slow page loads do not encourage users to go to your site.

One easy way to get an animated gif is at WoW Model Viewer. DO NOT DOWNLOAD this app from ANYWHERE but their site. Phishing sites do exist with keyloggers. If you site is not for WoW, check your game's homepage for animated images. OFten they have a section of resources.  WoW Model Viewer

Here are a couple tutorials on making Animated Sigs - just adapt what they teach to a banner.

If you don't have the software listed, you'll have to find something. Personally I'm spoiled and have access to the entire Adobe Library.

You will want some fonts. A nice site is here: Type Oasis

One of the mods at the Diablo3 forums posted some excellent popular fantasy fonts in this thread. The forums themselves hve a small fan art section. Within that you can find some discussion on capturing video files off webpages and turning them into art. Diablofans Font Thread

If you have a LOT of fonts, I'm testing out this really sweet little utility from Linotype. It's a free font manager/viewer and works for both platforms
