Please refer to my site: click me.

Is there a way to eliminate the gap between the banner graphic and the content boxes?  What I'd love is for the banner to be sitting directly on top of the top three content boxes.

Thanks!

Hi Slimwit!

Add this line to your CSS:
#ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContentTable {position: relative; top:-10px;}
I like the theme... very frosty

Thank you twice on that one, Mottie!!

One follow-up question:  is there a document/place where the CSS is explained to this level of detain?  I thought there used to be a "Developer's Guide" but can only find the Administrator's Guide.

Cheers!

Hi again!

You are very welcome! And sadly, no there isn't a guide that covers everything. But I did make a list of CSS styles used by GuildPortal. It doesn't cover all the IDs that can be styled (like in this thread), but it should get you started.

You can find that post here.

Here's a little more detail on this subject: I don't know how much you know about CSS, but classes and Ids are defined at the HTML level. Classes in CSS are styled with a period in front of the classname (".ContentBox") and Ids are styled using a number sign ("#ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContentTable"). Ids should be unique for each page while classes can be used in many places. And the reason I haven't made a guide for the Id's is well #1 I'm lazy LOL and #2 there are a ton of Ids - just about every content box has one or more Ids associated with it.

Yes, I've seen the post to which you link and it's was extremely useful to me....I think that post and everything else you've done indicates that you are the furthest thing from "lazy" I've ever seen.

And yes, what I was looking for was a level of detail that at least listed the IDs.  Perhaps someday GuildPortal will find the time to provide such a list.

Cheers!
