Your members have to actually sign up for the website, go into their character settings, and input the tradeskills for their characters themselves.

I'm not really that happy with GuildPortal's WoW tradeskill module, though it has less to do with the fact that people have to input their own stuff and more with the fact that it's messily organized. They still have specializations attached to each tradeskill, even though since the expansion the specializations are pointless except to the person who has the tradeskill (because all specialized items are bind on pickup). Even if you wanted to keep that, they haven't put in the specializations for Alchemy and Tailoring. And Mining, Herbalism, and Skinning are doing something funky -- each of them are listed twice, but it doesn't even group all people under the same one (on my site, I have 1 person listed under the top Herbalism and 2 people listed under the bottom Herbalism).

It's frustrating to the point that we just started having members put their tradeskills in their guild notes, so that they show up on our guild roster.

How do I embed it into my roster? I'm a rookie webmaker here...just use the basic functions of the template and hope for the best

My guild uses RPG Outfitter for tradeskill/professions tracking.

As for how to embed it - add content to that page and selected Embedded Page as the content type.

Then edit the Embedded Page, put in the url of the page you want inserted, tell it how long (in pixels) you want it to be and Save.
If you end up with a vertical scroll bar, go back and increase the pixel length.

You can check my guild's RPG Outfitter profession page at jinxed.guildportal.com

I just set up my guild's RPG Outfitter account, and it is pretty cool.

I just have one question for you, Star-knight. I see on your professions page that you have embedded ONLY the roster table. When I tried embedding mine, I got the whole RPG Outfitter UI.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Also, your characters and recipes are only shown if you select recipes, whereas mine automatically shows the characters underneath the profession. How did you set it up like that?

Thanks a bunch!
