Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Hi everyone. how are you? good i hope. I was wondering if i could bother you guys to give me a hand with my site. i want to basically redo the whole thing. i know your all thinking oh no here we go again
i want to make all the content on our guild site narrower, i guess. so there is a border on each side of it and then an image to fill the left and right sides of the site. i am just unsure how to do this and to implement the images i want where i want them. i also want to change the banner image, to something a little more.... evil i guess would be the best word for it. its awful nice and friendly looking.
if anyone has any ideas, images. suggestions, comments or advice it woud be welcome
DeathDealers
and i really hate that i made a spelling mistake on the subject line and it will not let me edit it.

Hi there!
Hmm let's see, you are going for more evil... gray isn't a bad color, but the gray and white color scheme comes across more like "dreary" rather then evil. You may want to consider some more menacing bolder colors to work into your color scheme, such as a black, or red.
You banner image, I really like the fade around the image. You could get a more "evil" look if you can alter the white of the snow a bit to be more of red (if you want to work that into your site) so it's more like blood stained snow rather then a peacefully quiet scene. Too evil? lol I am not sure how I feel about the font in this particular banner, it's pretty elegant for such a strong name.
Or if you want to try a different approach to a banner, how about a graveyard "like" backdrop. Even a siloute of a graveyard would fit in well with the Guild name. Or even something Grim Reaper/Spirit Rezzer like. Just tossing out ideas.
One thing I noticed, looking at your site on IE- it's not centered on your banner. It appears to be along the left side of the page. If you want it centered, you can go into: Styles and Colors---> Page Styles ---> Site Layout, your "Content Area Alignment" box is on Center. This is also where you can "squish" everything together to make room for that background image you were talking about earlier with the side graphics. The box "Content Area Width" can be changed to various percentages; lower it to make room on the sides of your page.
As for the rest of the site, Mottie's test sites are the place to check out.

ok in regards to the size of the banner image, on my computer the tab bar is wider than the banner itself, not sure if that is how you see it or not, but i looked at it on someone elses computer and they are lined up perfectly. and as for the font, the program i used to make the banner only has a few to choose from. i like the idea of changing the color to a red or something though. my origonal site when i started was black and red. As for centering it i have done what you said and it still looks the same on mine as well. but not at a firends house so. shrug im not sure.
