Description
This mod allows you to add a YouTube video and change the player styling along with other options. Also, you can easily add a mp3 audio file using the basic Google mp3 player
or a player that can easily be styled (Wordpress player)

Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).

Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:

OK, Guild Portal! It seems we have started a trend with our splash screens;

So, why don't you give people the option of installing one, when they create their site?!
A great idea; but, I personally would rather see an updated version of your featured spotlight guild section! Maybe a separate box for NON - WOW guilds!!!

We (my wife and I) solved that problem by just creating our own website then linking it through guildportal. In the end though we decided against it and just created a re-direct. Its a bit cleaner and sometimes splash pages can just be a bit annoying. To much glitz and avoids taking you straight to the content your guild members desire. Know what I mean? Always ask yourself, "how many clicks of a button does it take for my members to get to whats important. Should never take more than 2 max, imo.

Personaly i like the splash screens and so does my guildies, its something different than just seeing the same old boring website over and over.
As for the howmany clicks it takes i dont agree with the 2 clicks, but then again this is a game forum and not a website trying to sell items to ppl visiting it.
Keep up the good job on the splash screen for those that dont mind it

I mean no disrespect when I say... you just proved my point. How is seeing the same ol boring website over again any different than seeing your same ol splash page over and over again to which by the way provides nothing on terms of usefulness other than needless graphics.
I'm talking about the difference between efficiency and you're more than welcomed to disagree. If you think that clicking more than 2 times to get to a particular tirtiary link is an efficient design on your behalf, you may need to re-think that.

The same reason people wear guild tabard and create web banners or forum signatures. None of them are particularly useful except to form an identity.

Actually, when you are searching for a guild, or looking for a guild... to me a guild having a splash screen shows that the guild web guy is more knowledgeable in the area of web/content design. He may not be more knowledgeable, but he is putting more into the guild site... which takes more time/effort... which shows that they dedicated to the guild. When I am looking at guild websites, there's 2 things that jump out at me.
1) Layout - Does the guild use a fluent layout, or is everything off centered and ugly looking.
2) Splash - Did the guild web guy put in the time/effort to utilize a the feature?
Not saying there's anything wrong with not using a splash page... I'm not lazy enough to not mind clicking an extra button.
