How can I get the widgets on the right to suck in, to be right next to the news, but fit in with my background. I have racked my brain trying to figure this out, and cannot for the life of me.

Here is the site:

Hi SirPhobos!

It looks like you have the wide main contents in the left content zone and your narrower content in the center zone. Try shifting all the widgets over... move the news and shouts to the center zone and the leadership, needs and progression widgets to the right zone. And do the same thing with your chat tab.

Tried that as well. No dice.

I styled the RightContentZone, and the biggest problem is the width. Can't get the width to change for the life of me. Made it an absolute div, moved it around, still to no avail.

It's the most annoying thing I have ever come across hah.

Hi SirPhobos!

Taking a closer look at your site.. I think I found the problem(s)
  • The ContentBox width is set at 960px when it should be 100%. The ContentWrapper is set to 960px and contains all the columns.
.ContentBox {
 margin-bottom:5px;
 background-color:#F1F1F1;
 border:solid 1px #2d2d2d;
 padding-bottom:2px;
 -moz-border-radius:3px;
 -webkit-border-radius:3px;
 width:100%;
}
  • The KillTable in the raid status box needs to have a width defined... I added this to your style sheet and it appeared to work

    .KillTable { width: 175px; }

Thank you so much! That fixed the biggest problems. Now I just need to adjust why the forums, state bar, etc are being pushed about 5px to the right, and I'll be on my way.

Fixed it! The problem was, I had values for width set in the ContextBox, and ContextBoxBody, and there was no need to have those!

New problem Mottie! Haha

Look at the site in Internet Explorer (im using IE8 here--only for testing, I hate IE)

The homepage's right content boxes are all squished. And I am not sure of the css classes to fix them. Would you know of a fix? Everything I have tried, has not worked.

Hi SirPhobos!

It looks like you set your right content zone to only be 10 pixels wide.

Go to Control Panel > Pages & Content > Page Properties tab > Under Widget Containers Width: Right side, set that to 185 pixels.
