Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post
.

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Fingers of Fury!
I posted this previously and forgot the subject. I tried to edit it and add it in, but its not showing up >.< Sorry for posting twice.
Does anyone have any idea how to make the white part of the login area transparent so that you see the background? This is the area I'm talking about:
Thanks in advance

I had a complete 'mare with that when i recently redid my site design. The background is controlled by the ContentBox* css bit, which means you need to (if using the custom CSS styles) ensure that it has no entry for a background colour.
In the end, I used customer containers (left, centre and right) for my site and then defaulted the ContentBox to no colour...
Guess this sounds a bit confusing, you'll need to understand a bit of CSS to implentment this.

I'm still fairly new to CSS, but I'm working on it. Would you possibly be willing to give me an example of what would need to be put into the left/right/center to make it work?

It's easy. Go into your Control Panel, then go to Styles and Colors, then go to Custom Stylesheet.
If you're using custom background and content containers and your CSS is enabled, then you can scroll down to the .ContentBoxBody section of the style sheet and take out the background color of the top box.

Thank you very much! I was able to get rid of it, however, I'm not sure how to just get rid of the top. It got rid of all the boxes background. Like I said, I'm pretty much a CSS noob. Is there a specific code to affect just the top box background (I'm assuming yes since thats what you suggested
) I really appreciate the help. I'll be trying to figure it out in the meantime, but your suggestion gave me a good headstart.

What's think link to your site?
something like this in the Custome Stylesheet code may work:
.ContentBoxBody {
-- need to add your normal CSS code here, but leave out the background property --
}
#ContentTable .ContentBoxBody {
-- need to add your normal CSS code here --
}
The bar at the very top of the page sits outside of #ContentTable so you can give that another background property - or simply don't add one.
PS It's not perfect as you'll see if you logout then click on the New User link.
