OK sorry about that... that took some revision of the HTML...
  • Added spaces inside the empty table cells, I tried adding an "empty-cells:show" in the CSS but it didn't work as I intended. So this works just as well.
  • Removed the extra row in the ContentBoxBody area as the table columns didn't span the rows properly in IE
So I updated the script in the original post... sorry about that.

Thanks, that sorted it out.

Although you specified a width of 500 which was a little OTT!

I have a couple of questions and then I'll stop bugging you

I'm trying to move the content box titles so they are in the boxes but can't seem to do it (Make 'em bold and yellow/Gold in the process too)

I tried following your advice in this thread by putting this line:

ContentBoxTitleNoBackground {color: #cccccc; text-align:left; position:relative; top:13px; left:5px; white-space: nowrap;}

in the CSS but nothing moved

Also the tab bar buttons have too much space between them on the main site, on my test site they are fine. Both use the same code from your test site though.

Lastly a generic question. In boxes containing custom HTML how do I add some blank space at the top i.e move the content down a bit?

Hey Miles!

  • LOL, the 500px width it what I was using to test the box, I forgot to remove it... it's gone now.

  • Looking through your CSS, I see you have comments "/Content Boxes/" and "/Menu Bars/". The browser doesn't like this in the CSS and ignores it. To add comments, you need to add an asterisk with the slash "/* Comment */"

    This will fix both the ContentBoxTitle AND your tab bar spacing.

    To adjust the Title to your liking, you can modify the padding (this CSS is already there)

    .ContentBoxTitle { color:#fff; text-align:left; padding: 2px 0px 0px 30px; }

    here is what the numbers mean: padding: top right bottom left;

  • Lastly, to add a little space to the top of the content box, just add this (the part in green) into the CSS:

    .ContentBoxBody { background:#000000; color: #ffffff; margin:3px; vertical-align:top;  padding-top: 5px;}
