Hi CandaraQueen!
  1. Yes it is possible to put two widgets side-by-side, but you'll have to be more specific about which two, because it will require custom coding.

  2. I'm still not sure how to put all of the medals into a tooltip... like I said before having a lot would make the tooltip go off the screen, so do you have any ideas?

    To hide an empty widget, add the code from this post (make sure the editor is in RAW mode)

well if you go to our site and look, id like to have the rom database widget and the "online now" widget side by side in the center. i plan on removing the welcome with the picture and making the news larger...  but i hate it when things dont coordinate >.<

as for the medals, i did add ur code for this in it, and it worked (except the pictures didnt load) but im still having a hard time adding this coding to it instead.

btw i added a mail page to my site so that it would have its own page instead of like forming its own widget inside the other pages and screwing things up, but now it made the top tab bar all wonky. is there a way i could hide it too? i tried the same code as the splash page but it didnt work.

or u know what, is it possible to hide ALL the tabs at the top? since i have that slide-in menu feature, the tabs at the top are not needed. ty in advance for ur assistance.

Hi CandaraQueen!

Try this:

  • tabs ... be on the left side of the page?

Check out this side sliding menu, just follow the directions on that site. If you get stuck somewhere with it, just hollar at me Oh and you can then hide your current tab bar using this CSS (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Custom CSS > CSS Additions to Standard)
.tCenter { display: none; }

As for having the RoM DB search and Online now widgets together, try the code below. Change or remove the "Online Now" text (in red) which will appear above the list of people online:
<table width="100%">
<tr><td width="50%">
<style type="text/css">
    .searchbox { background: url(http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa236/Mottie1/testsite/icons/rom-logo.gif) no-repeat; position: relative; width: 160px; height: 100px; }
    .searchbox div { position: absolute; top: 0px; height: 0px; cursor: pointer; width: 120px; height: 70px; }
    .searchbox input { background: transparent; border: #777777 1px solid; color: white; width: 125px; position: absolute; top: 53px; left: 5px; }
    .searchbox button { background: transparent url(http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa236/Mottie1/testsite/icons/btn-search.png) no-repeat; width: 31px; height: 31px; position: absolute; right: 5px; bottom: 20px; border: none; cursor: pointer; }
    .searchbox button:hover { background-image: url(http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa236/Mottie1/testsite/icons/btn-search-hover.png);}

Hi CandaraQueen!

Just replace the already exiting ROM search box code (in the Free Form Text/HTML widget) then move it to the center zone or it'll look all smooshed

oh now i remember what i was going to ask, u know ur toolbar that u created for gp sites... is it possible to put like a few actions on it that would come with being an admin? just some basic tasks like add a widget or award metals or announcements? just a thought..

also i was looking, is it possible to get this feature set up but not with links?

like instead of it linking to a page just be used for instructions like this:

Requesting instance runs instructions:
  1. Scroll down to the "Need Roster" panel and click "add need".
  2. A new panel is displayed for you to enter the information you are requesting.
  3. Follow the guidelines below to help you choose the best information to suit your needs.
Priority ranks as follow:
  • Final Quests In Area - Critical
  • Quest - Very High Priority
  • Elite Skills - High Priority
  • Gear/Farming - Medium Priority
  • JTG (just to go) - Low Priority
Note: The usage of this structure in an abusive manner will result in disciplinary action.

Ultimate Goal or Reward:
  • Final Quests In Area Completed
  • Quests Completed
  • Elite Skills Achieved
  • Gear/Farming Received
  • JTG (just to go) no goal or reward.
Location Information: Just enter the instance you wish to run; example: Forsaken Abbey, Mystic Alter etc.

Estimated People Needed: Generally all instances require at least 6 people, but it depends on if a higher level is running the instance.
But just best to put 6.

Other Notes: This is just if you have anything you wish to say, but this area is BEST used to place a time suitable for you (who is requesting) to run this instance within the next week.

Please follow these guidelines and understand that we have to schedule them as the need for runs is greater than we have members to run them.
