Hi Keilana55!

The progression box will work for any game, you just need to change the variables file by replacing dungeon names & icons, and boss names. The guild activity feed would work, but you would need a feed from Rift.

How can I change the background color of just the Navigation Tabs?  I just tried using the "Widget Header Area," and it only changed it for the active one, and it also changed the other headers in that page.   I want it so the tabs are a separate color all their own.

Hey Enigma

Using the Recognitions page as a starting point,

Red vs Green - making text another colour to signify something and putting a line through it is redundant - is there a difference between green + strike-through and just green? The current method is using 2 changes to differentiate, when it really only needs one.

Underlining links - this is a pretty oldschool web design solution that doesn't look all that pretty. Maybe consider making links bold instead, or simply leave them that light blue and make sure no other text is the same colour.

Padding + site width - the widgets could use some padding (space between their borders and the content inside them) so the text has more room to breathe and isn't pushed up against the sides. You can do this in the control panel someplace...To accommodate this, you might think about increasing the width of the entire layout slightly, it's pretty narrow and could be wider while keeping with the column look.

Banner - the new one has definitely changed the feel of the site, you're more in the direction of "evil assassiny" than before, if this is preferable or not is up to you. I'd still try to cut down on the height some.

Cheers!

Hey,

True, I guess I could do just green to signify completed ones.

The underlining links are on the list of things to do.  Still trying to figure out how to change the background of the Tab links without it changing everything else.  It looks messy with all the lines.

I'm kind of digging the new picture.   It has a this feel to it that's different than the last picture.   Of course, we'll see what the     GM says about it.

I gave this site a fairly major overhaul.  It has a much different feel now than it did 2 days ago.  I still have to evaluate the spacing issue since it looks different on my work computer vs my home computer (IE at work, FF at home).

Can you please provide your opinions now?  Thanks again for all of your help

Looking good!

I like the font over the previous one, and the navigation is a lot cleaner. I would look at toning down some of those "RGB" colours a little, like the yellow, red, and green font on some of the pages - I know they represent more important text, but they could be less glaring. Again, I'd suggest exploding that banner left and right, maybe think about the fire spreading onto the black there, and you're good to go.

Much improved!

I don't think I can change the banner.  I used one of the "Shared Community Provided" backgrounds.  If it is possible, can you instruct me how?

Hm I'm not sure what that is..

However, if you're not sure about changing it yourself and want to try it out, I could look at throwing something together for you.

The Shared backgrounds is an option if you use the banner builder.

I'd appreciate that very much:)   I definitely do like the new look of the site.  It looks more serious now.

I am wondering 2 things:
1)  Do you or Mottie know if it's possible to add an Event feed to the website that would pull all of the currently scheduled Guild Events without having to enter them into the GP website?
2) When designing an application(we don't have one yet, but may), is it possible to add checkboxes for answers?  Example: If the question is  "What do you enjoy most about the game?" and the possible answers are "Raiding, Leveling, PvP, Dungeon Runs, Achievements," would it be possible to make it so someone can select  Leveling and Achievements?

And I'm not sure if Mottie knows, but the link to the website from here (if you click on Mottie's Help Site, then the link provided) doesn't work.  The URL appears to be listed incorrectly in the link, because typing in the URL works fine.
