I have an externally hosted script that returns an XML document with information about a given player, specified by a "GET" parameter.  Example:

http://myserver.com/playerData.php?playerName=SomeGuy

I would like to dynamically change the "SomeGuy" part of that URL in an XML/XSL Transform content piece to match a playerName given in the guildportal URL.  Example:

A visitor goes to URL:
http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=xxx&TabID=yyy&playerName=SomeOtherGuy

And the XML/XSL content piece on that page accesses the URL:
http://myserver.com/playerData.php?playerName=SomeOtherGuy

Is there any way to accomplish this with guildportal?

Thanks.

Getting Started!

Bump...

I'm looking at the same thing.  I'm wondering if I can write an AJAX script that will accomplish this via Javascript.
