G'day All!

Im think its have been one Great idea to Get one Behter Image gallery in this post wil im show u guys some ideas i have for one new Gallery And AAron U should read this !

Functions:
- All should can upload this should u can set on one acces lvl for uploading images
- Upload images from computer
- Create Albums
- Delete Albums
- Make Image Categorys¨
- Delete Image Categorys
- Delete Images
- Get images from url
- Admin system for gallery
- Different functions like
Slideshow function
- Delete albums
- Re-size images
- Comment box for images
- Rating box for images
- Uploading date
- Uloaded by status
- Others images in same category
- Write down labels for images
- Images should be aproved by admin
- And i dont know more but im think we understand what im mean or?

LocateD:
-The Gallery/The Gallery admin system should have different styles who should be easy customized like What image should the Uploading image bar be? or what should the backround be?

- And its have been nice with Standard templates for all games

we need to have member image gallerys where members can upload screen shots etc to share in our communities.

  Ido agree that members should have a way to add images, but as I havelearned. Some sort of controls need to be in place for censoringunwanted content.
  I would recommend using an off site imaging service for a slide show! I have created email accounts, Picnik accounts, Photobucket accounts, Rock You accounts;in the guilds name, so all members can add screen shots and personal photos.
  And to add all the items you listed is, well, over the top! Photo editing and album sharing etc.. is a whole different ball game!
 This is where guild hosting and photo sharing should go their own ways!
 So, create a free form box, and install the html code provided at motties test site. and then make a kickn' slide show of your own!
 All you have to do, is post in your forums the passwords for the accounts, and have direct links to whatever photo-sharing company you use! ( ie, Picnik can save to photobucket, and Rockyou uploads from both)

The ability to comment on said images would be great too! Right now we have to go to the forums to ask questions about the screenshots folks have uploaded.

Working on it.  In addition to sucking less than the current one, the web services that get the gallery data will have an API that any of the jQuery-types can easily tap into to either enhance the functionality of what's coming, or write a gallery entirely on their own, if the current one doesn't fit their needs.

I have a question about the galleries too. We have 1 on the home page that we put pics of members in-game avatars and have it rotate through them. We would like to have another image gallery on a different page that was screen shots but when I add a second image gallery, even though it is on a different page, it has the same images as the one on the home page. If I edit one it also edits the other, is there a way to have multiple image galleys with totally separate  data?

And bump for the ideas in this thread!

Hmmm... At the moment, the all galleries are (as you noted) tied to the guild overall, and all display together.  I suppose another level above that could be added, so that individual galleries (or multiple) could be selected to appear in certain instances of the gallery widget...  Wonder how complicated that would make things overall though.

It would be nice if the image galleries had separate settings. For instance, I would rather have one "approved" gallery that is displayed in the slideshow while others are accessible if clicked on but not included in the slideshow unless I explicitly include them. At the moment I seem to have no control over which galleries or images are included in the slideshow as it's all galleries or none. Adding the option to display separately on different pages would be a nice option as well.
