Take a look at the my guild's webpage! The alliance list onthe front page, the roster, the economy page and the frontier page are all done up using XSLT transforms on DAOC supplied xml!All the XSL files:alchemist.xslalliance.xslarmorer.xsldoyen.xslexec.xslfletcher.xslkeeps.xsllastweekrp.xslomens.xslraven.xslrelics.xslroster.xslsmith.xslspellcraft.xsltailor.xsltender.xsltotalrp.xslHope this helps people who are still cracking their heads over it!

Excellent work with all this Commerick.  If I can figure out how to use XML I'd definately like to use some of your things.  I especially like how you pulled each rank of your guild into its own roster section.  I'll have to do that one!!!

Well, I didn't find the need to include spell and style data on my website. It is a guild website, not a fansite afterall. If you wish you could design your own XSL to display them. However, since this bit of data is largely static, it might be less work to just manually list them down instead.

This is really nice work Commerick....erm can you make any sense of our EU XML data?

The Trades are not linked to character data like on the US side, which means I'm having a nightmare trying to get trades to show up.

Any ideas?

hrmm.... I would be inclined not to incorporate tradeskills into the roster, but have seperate sections for each tradeskill. I believe Omicrhonicus has done some excellent work to this end on another thread.

While it is theoretically possible, if you are willing to jump through the hoops, to rosterize the tradeskills, you would stil only have tradeskills for the top 5 craftsmen of each trade, making the data incomplete. Can't make something out of nothing...

I've got a full tradeskill display incorporated into a custom roster for our guilds. You can find the output HERE. If you want the XSL for the transform, drop me a note and I'll see you get a copy. I also created a separate page to use for our Top 10 Crafter listings in each discipline. Check the site for that as well.

Note: DAoC Guild XML is used as the base for the transforms.

I looked at your xml and as far as I can see there is an element under <character> named <tailoring>, <weaponcraft> etc. depending on what type of trade the char has. This element contains the skill level value. So, to list all traders and their skill you would have to loop through those.

Hmmm...I noticed in our guild XML that a lot of the crafters are listed as anonymous. Why is that and how to change it?
