This is really nice work Commerick....erm can you make any sense of our EU XML data?

The Trades are not linked to character data like on the US side, which means I'm having a nightmare trying to get trades to show up.

Any ideas?



I looked at your xml and as far as I can see there is an element under named , etc. depending on what type of trade the char has. This element contains the skill level value. So, to list all traders and their skill you would have to loop through those.


Think it took GoA over a year to change their XML stuff.  It now roughly follows the US style



If you have not worked out the "anon" Guild Crafts thingie...then remember to switch    /webdisplay trades

Do this in game, wait for character to be saved and tada!

Default was for "on" under older patch, whereas it's now "off" ....at least that's the case on Euro servers

I really like your roster but have a few questions.

How do you keep Alternate characters from being listed seperately?

Is their status dependant on how long it's been since they visited the website?

Alternate characters are not distinguishable via the XML feeds, take alook at your guilds listing on Camelot Herald and that's what the XMLshows.

The status is dependent on the XML feed, again, it's not website based,it's how long since that character last logged in. Currently it's"Recent", within 3 days, within 7 days, within 2 weeks, and "inactive",or2 weeks+.

Take a look at my (non-GP) RWS website,I use the XML feeds similarly to the GP xsl. BTW, I'm looking at theXSL feeds for the PB site Arouin hehehe... race to see who does itfirst? *grin*

PS: In some ways, I miss the old non-interactive, non-gui plain textboxes that used to be shown for Mozilla users. I have found onefault... Links don't work if I click or highlight and click "add link".I have to go into the html tab to add it

BTW, thanks Commerick for the XSL info.  I'm toying with it on ourAlliance website that the infamous Arouin has graciously let me helpher maintain
