Can you change the inputs for the date and time on the Events?

Calendar selection, instead of the current drop-downs for day, month, year (well it's actually month, day, year). It would be more convenient, since you're not looking at another page to see whether 'xx' day is a Saturday or not.

Also the clock, change it to a 24hr one.  Or better still, give the option to have this.

Of course, I think it's easier to have a guild setting for this - e.g. Set the guild site to a specific time-zone.  Together with options for 24hr clock and European calendar format.

I gotta bump and add to this one.

We're having a very difficult time with the Events Box - Small.  The time listed in the box doesn't reference the time that the event actually happens.  I am pretty sure the time listed is based on the timezone of the poster.  The Guildportal site knows what time zone I am in but doesn't seem to take in to account the time difference of the poster.

We have an event at the top of  our window.  It shows the following:

DoN Groupage: Gimblax
8/21/2005 11:30 PM
katika lytefoot

Cool an event at 11:30 I say.  Checking the calendar info by clicking the link and I see the following  "Your time zone is set to Newfoundland (GMT - 3:30) Newfoundland  Click to change"  Which is my time zone.

However, when Katika set up the event its supposed to happen at 10:30 my time.

I think the problem lays in the difference of where Kat lives vs where the server is based.  I think the above mentioed changes in the first post could help with this.  Also some time zone information as to what we are posting for.

sorry for the rambling.  Its late.
