Becoming Adept!

Any planned expansion on the idle monitor?

Note: I'm filling out a feature request form.

Not really sure why you would want to have 2 different rules for your members (as officers are also members in the strictest sense).  If You want them to have more activity on the guild page and they don't participate, demote them manually to member level.  You can view their participation EASILY by using the filters to view only officers.  If what you are saying is that you want you officers to have the ability to be inactive than what you ask of a normal member, then that makes no sense whatsoever.

Keep one thing in mind.  We must remember that our guild pages should not be the emphasis of determining if an officer or a member is active or not.  It is entirely possible that some of the members browse the pages without signing in (which if they don't sign in cause they don't know they might miss something in restricted forums) and just browse the pages and only participate if there is something that interests them.  Some people might not be very active when it comes to the guild page, but in the game you play, they might be the best thing since sliced bread.

People have lives, real life sometimes gets in the way of our MOST IMPORTANT RPG playing and internet fun time (omg go figure).  Some people might even have jobs or family situations that dictate they give up playing for a period of time - and OMG just to think, they might not even come to you to ask you for your personal permission to stop playing the game that they pay to play.

Your officers are volunteers, not employees.  Treat them with the same respect you give your members.  And I hope you give your members a lot of respect to begin with.  You will have to manually view your officer participation, but that is not that difficult.  I don't see GP spending weeks to develop a feature that few guilds would want to utilize and if they did, odds are The officer participation check feature would make sure that your officers participated more than a member and not the other way around.  Don't expect more from your membership than you do your officers.  That just promotes an atmosphere within your guild of, "we are better than you are" and what rules we set, we don't have to follow.
