Hiya,

Not sure if this has been requested, but these links do not include thepage or any other "marker" data that allows the actual post to belinked to directly.  Instead, when someone clicks on one of theselinks, the first page of the thread is opened and the top of that pageis shown.  If the thread is particularly active and spans multiplepages, it's kindof a pain to not be taken to that person's postdirectly.  Can the page and/or post-marker information be includedin the links generated for the "Most Recent Activity"?

If it helps with description, I am using Mozilla as my browser.

Thanks.

I have requested this, as well.  From the behaviour of other forums, you would indeed expect the link to take you directly to the beginning of that post.

In addition, post markers seem to be set at the bottom of the post.  If you click on the "bottom" link on a thread page or click on the date of the most recent post in the thread, you are taken to the bottom of the last post instead of the beginnning of it.  That can force you to scroll back up if the post is long.

So, here's what I believe is being asked for:

REQUEST: Set forum markers for the beginning of posts and have the "most recent activity" link jump direcrtly to that message indicated.  Have the "Bottom" link in a thread jump to the beginning of the last message.  Have the date in the threads list jump to the beginning of the last post.  Lastly, have all other links (such as the posts listed in a member's profile) behave in a similar fashion.

Thanks for adding and clarifying.  Based on your discovery, Iwonder if that explains the situation where a page my have reached itsfull content mark and the number of pages indication will show anotherpage but the highest numbered page link takes you to an emptypage...  at least until someone posts anoter entry.  See thefollowing:

Now if someone clicked on the "2" link in that picture, the page so displayed would be empty of posts until the next poster posted.
