Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Fingers of Fury!
I was looking over my calendar of events and I noticed:
Date
Time
Priority
Invited
Details
Location
Additional Location Information
Raid Point Value
In an effort to make things more clear to members I was going to add a note in Additional Location Information such as Meet on the boat in Gunthak near the book. So of course I go to the Events Calendar Editor to look for the Additional Location Information to edit. It's not there.
Is this an oversight? Am I missing it some place? If it was an oversight, will this be added to the Editor?
This would be very handy. This way under details I only need put what our goal / objective is for the event. I find that when I add the Additional Zone Information in with the normal Details it tends to get missed.
Thanks in advance.
*Edited for spelling and grammer since my mind does not seem to functioning at full speed yet this morning.

Also is there a way that we can get security and invited as two different things? We like our events to show up publicly so people interested in the guild can see that we are semi-active but just because the event is public doesn't mean it is an open event. It would be nice to be able to set them seperately and specify that an event is members only but shows up on calendar for all.

That's a great idea Kitario! I have worried that our calendar always looks empty to prospective recruits. Being able to set separate “view” and “sign-up” permissions would be a big help.

A
very
good suggestion. I have the same problem, I want events to be guild-only, but want everyone to be able to view them to see what kind of schedule we have (for recruiting purposes, naturally!).
Playing Devil's Advocate though, I'm sure that there will be many that truly want some of their events to
not
be viewed. Example - You might not want competing guilds knowing where you're planning to raid.

How about something in the middle, like a count of upcoming events, instead of details? That way prospective members can see that there is activity, but competition for encounters can't get a leg-up. Sound good?

Perhaps have them show in the “Small Events Box”?
