Hi guys, I'm new to creating a website and I have run into a few problems I havn't been able to fix via searching the boards, perhaps someone could help.

First off, here is my website

First Problem:  When I add a picture to my Code of Conduct Info section on the left hand side, it expands past the pop up window when pulled up.  is there any way other than resizing the picture to get it to fit within the border?

Second Problem:  Concerning Box borders, Ive read all the post regarding this topic and there are many useful threads about putting them on the website.  But I am new and I need help with the step before that, how does one go about making an image for a box border with photoshop?  Any basic ideas would be appreciated.

Third Problem: Ive attempted to create a donation box via the sticky at the top of this forum. I can get the button to show, but I cant get the link to work.  I copied the html exactly from the paypal website.

Any help would be appreciated I know I am asking a lot of questions!  Thanks so much!

Hi Rhem,

I hope I can help a little...

  1. Pop up window: resize the window by adjusting its CSS. Read the post here.

  2. Box borders:
    • Look at some of the spot light guilds or check out some of the member's sites that post here for ideas
    • If that doesn't help, do a google search for picture frames or check out some of your game's forums. Some of the members there may have interesting sites.
    • Once you make your frame in photoshop, just chop it up into 8 images... check out this post for further details

  3. Donation Box:
    • The guild portal page is a huge form... so added a form inside of that form leads to problems. Basically, your form will break.
    • Go back to Paypal and get the donation "link". It looks something like this (included e-mail in the link is removed):

    • Now copy the code below, paste it into a free form text/HTML box. Then replace the green text with your paypal code. This code will make the donation button open a popup window instead of taking you to the site.

      <center><input src="" onclick="'PAYPAL CODE HERE', 'newwindow', 'height=600,width=800,toolbar=yes,menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,location=no,directories=no,status=no')" value="Make a Donation" type="image"> </center>
I hope that helps!
