Becoming Adept!

There are a number of things I want to customize to match the rest of my page design and several problems I can't seem to fix. Hopefully someone can answer my questions. I have provided images to illustrate my problems.  /facedesk

Here the nav bar text doesn't show at all, just the button. Both the button and the banner have been changed, given new file names, deleted the old file and updated the page, the old images continue to load most of the time. And although I have disabled the link underlines, a number of links appear underlined.

In these two images I want to at least switch the blue bar to deep navy I have used elsewhere.

This is how the blog looks and it's terrible. I want it to match the rest of my pages! I saw no way to change the type on the right hand side of the page showing the calendar.

I need to get my site ready to go ASAP and I'm tired of trying to fix problems with my pages.

Hi Arahila!

Your nav bar text may not be showing because the text color could be the same as the background? I can't tell because you don't have your site up yet so I can't give you a definite answer.

The blue bars you see are defined by the ".ForumCategoryHeader" CSS class. In the control panel, go to Control Panel > Style Tools > Forum-Specific > Category Background and change the color or add a background image there.

You can customize the colors of the blog by clicking on the "Personalize blog" link, but sadly there is no way to add custom CSS.
