I'm quite fond of your banner (font and design) and the font on your buttons. I'm probably biased though since it's very similar to a design I had on my site when my guild was known as Unseen Rage. We had similar fonts and buttons, except I had a color scheme of black, gray, red, and orange to give it a fiery feel. More black and gray with red & orange accents though (NO it did not look like a big pumpkin).

To give a little c/c, I think maybe you should consider some content borders or a background to your content boxes to give it a little more pop. I see your train of thought in the color scheme, but the gray content boxes tend to blend to together and drag the effect of the banner down. I did the same thing with the Unseen Rage site at first, so that's why it particularly stands out to me.
