This idea was inspired by a separate thread here (raid progression), posted by Mottie.  (*wave)

I had been doing something similar using my own javascript to produce a mouse over - pop up effect.  But, it would not work on forums other than my own GP site.  Not on allied GP guilds, and not in this thread.

However, once I saw that GP is using a standard script for roll over effects, the rest was pretty simple.

Here is my sig file code for your re-tweaking pleasure:

<table bgcolor="#cccccc" border="0" width="150">
  <tbody><tr>
    <td bgcolor="#bbbbbb"><strong>GM, <a href="http://quintessential.guildportal.com">Quintessential</a></strong> </td>
  </tr>
<tr><td ="ddrivetip('<img src=http://imgx.rpgoutfitter.com/sig/US/Dragonblight/Quintin.jpg>','','500');" ="hideddrivetip();">Quintin</td></tr>
<tr><td ="ddrivetip('<img src=http://imgx.rpgoutfitter.com/sig/US/Dragonblight/Pentamorous.jpg>','','500');" ="hideddrivetip();">Pentamorous</td></tr>
<tr><td ="ddrivetip('<img src=http://imgx.rpgoutfitter.com/sig/US/Dragonblight/Boozr.jpg>','','500');" ="hideddrivetip();">Boozr</td></tr>
<tr><td ="ddrivetip('<img src=http://imgx.rpgoutfitter.com/sig/US/Dragonblight/Broadway.jpg','','500');" ="hideddrivetip();">Broadway</td></tr>
</tbody></table>

And you can see it in action right here in my sig...

Too bad I don't use rpgoutfitter... I guess I could try them out or just make my own images

Yeah, good point that I didn't mention.

This technique should work with any of the popular forum sig banner services folks use.  Just replace the image URL with yours.

To make things fit properly, you may need to examine your image and find out exactly how many pixels wide it is.  Then set that number in the code.  My pictures are 500 pixels wide, hence the 500 in every tool tip call.
