Thanks Mottie.

Your Addons really have added some nice stuff to our website.

I hope that GP adds your functionality into the main editor. It would make my Guild Leader's day if the WoWhead module would start working again

Hi Aaron!

I just back from vacation and wow LOL... the wowhead code is just something I threw together. You have my permission to use ANY of the code I've written, you could probably do better though

Oh, and it would be nice if you could update the loot system, it seems wowdigger no longer exists, but you can obtain all of the necessary item information from the wowhead site via XML, just add "&xml" to the end of the item name (e.g. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45484&xml). I used this method to make the latest loot box, but it tends to use up the bandwidth of the free php site relaying the xml data. If you could get the GP to work with wowhead it would be great. I know you frown on gold seller sites, but it really is the best site for information out there right now... I bet you could just make your own tooltips from the information the XML gives

Great, thanks!  And as far as me doing better with the javascript stuff -- I sincerely doubt that.

Yeah, the gold seller thing has always been a sticking point.  I'll have to make it something the admins of a site can toggle off in the settings, so it's their option if they don't want to use it, instead of us forcing our stance on everyone.

The day hovering over an item generates gold advertisements, though, is the day we'll have to figure something else out!

Actually, have you worked with the syndication stuff from Curse?  As far as I know, they're still stand-alone.

Hey Aaron,

I think the Curse site (WoWDB.com) tooltips requires you to know the item ID and quality... I haven't dug into the tooltip script yet, but I don't think there is an item lookup ability. I think wowhead is currently the only site that provides the XML from looking up the name... I meant in my example before, that this would also provide the XML:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=Bladetwister&xml ( provides the same XML info as http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45484&xml )
Either way, if you gave the admins the ability to toggle the tooltips that would be great!
