Weird i just clicked the link and it works..

Anyway the Ventrilo box is bigger in width then the other boxes that are on the same side as the vent status box, is there anyway to get all of the boxes the same width?

If you go into the admin control panel.   Click on "Add, edit, or remove the pages and content on your web site."  Then on the right hand side you will see "Display Options".  You can click that and edit the pixels for the Left Center and Right Content boxes.  Just make sure you do it on all your pages so they stay uniformed.

hoping I can get someone to help me on this, considering i've been trying to get this ventrilo status to show up on my page for months now...

I have no way to upload the exe that was suggested here, as it says I'm not allowed to put it into the files yadda yadda

If someone could possibly give me an EASY solution to this, because I'm tired of paying for this site and not being able to figure this out. Frustrating as all heck!


How am i supposed to get this integrated on my home page in one of the paneled windows on the right? *sighs*

I'm not sure what .exe you are talking about uploading, adding a vent tab does not require this.

This was explained in this post, but here is a step-by-step explanation:

Blue = Select this option
Green = Enter specific information for your vent and web site
Red = Select Yes/No, depending on what you want displayed (or not displayed)
  • Go to http://www.instantventrilo.com/ventrilo-server-status.php
  • Style: Original
  • Output: Javascript/HTML Include
  • Enter your Server IP or Hostname: Enter your Vent Hostname or IP
  • Enter your Server Port: Enter your vent port number
  • Display channels with no users? YES
  • Display server IP and Port? YES
  • Display help link? YES
  • Clicking IP joins server? YES
  • Object Width: 200, or enter the width of your side column (leave room for box border)
  • Font Size(px): 10 (it's a good size to start)
  • Color Selection: Pick a color from the left color box, then click on the background or text to change that color

  • Now click "Preview Configuration" to see what your vent info will look like, make any changes in the above until you have what you want.

  • Click in the box above the "Preview Configuration" button and copy (Ctrl-C) the code in there.

  • Create a "Free Form Text/HTML" box on your site for the vent info and paste (Ctrl-V) the code into the box while in HTML mode () or right-click in the editor and select "Paste As Html"

  • Save

I'm not sure what I was doing wrong before, but your directions for the paste as html seem to have made it work! Thank you so much!

 I get either a box full of HTML or this which you can see on our site

Ideas anyone?

Spotted this post could that be something to do with it? How do I change these settings, are they in Vent or server side with my Vent host?

Never mind sorted

My provider isn't Instant Ventrillo. They had some code of their own that worked.

I have this running with one exception.

When I make a Ventrilo link, it doesn't put the html 'inline'.

I would like to make the ventrilo addon 'inline' on the main page.

Right now it makes, the link, then when you click on it, a new page pops.

Is there any way around this?
