Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Recently I was given the task of updating the look / feel of my guild's website. I've implemented numerous little code snippets from Mottie's test sites. Quick plug... Mottie, your test sites are an amazing resource that has my great appreciation.
However... I'm running into a problem. Now, when someone is making a forum post (or really any text entry onto the site), all of the formatting and option buttons at the top of the textarea box are gone. If I switch to html view, then back to wysiwyg view, the buttons appear where whey should be but are not clickable.
Here is a list of all the features I've added to the site from Mottie's test site.
Progression Box
Hiding the Admin Edit button
Search Box
Wowhead Tooltips
Recruitment Status
WoW Reputation Calculator
Server Status
I've also added a vent status script generated from ugt-servers.com. The custom CSS I use was merely a pre-defined theme I liked. I copy/paste the css from a themed page, changed some colors slightly, and posted it as a custom css file.
You can view my guild site at
http://epu.guildportal.com
for a look at what may be wrong.Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions, or see where I messed something up? Thanks.

I can't tell what's going on... it hides the bar on your site but not mine nor the admin forums.
I did find that if you clicked on the HTML mode button (
), then click on the design button (
) the editor buttons come back. The source of the page shows those elements as hidden in the style definition of the editor. So maybe posting a support ticket for this might be the best solution.

I see where you mention the fields being set to hidden... odd. I posted a support ticket for it.
One other problem I'm seeing now that I'm testing it more is a total lack of copy/paste ability inside the textarea field.
WTF did I do to screw such an important part of the website (the entry of text)?

Ok... problem is resolved. It didn't have anything to do with any attributes being hidden, or anything like that.
On each of my pages I had a content box on the left side that was a type "Embedded Page". I had this section pointing to a hosted .htm file with the code from wowrealmstatus.net in it. I used a Embedded Page instead of Free Form HTML Box so I didn't have to copy/paste any changes into every page. Just change one file and each page will see it.
Well... that was what messed things up. As soon as I changed that content box to a Free Form HTML page and pasted the code from wowrealmstatus.net directly onto each page the text editing boxes came back.
My best guess was the problem stemmed from the Embedded Page using an IFrame to pull the content in from the source HTM page. Not sure...
