Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Getting Started!
Hello guys, I'm having a slight problem. I can't seem to get rid of the black box around the title of my content box. I set the image properly, at least I think I did, in the Box Header/Title area. Any suggestions?
The site can be found here...http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=269540&TabID=2263098
Thanks in advance guys.

It's hard to tell what's going on since you used the built in content box editor.
I can see that your image UU.jpg isn't repeating like it should. So the only think I can think of would be to either remove any link you have in the "Top Left Content Area" and see if that works or make your UU.jpg image a lot wider.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

GP sets a default fixed width of 159 pixels on the Top Left Content Area. You need to fill it with a 159 pixel image as it will not repeat for that box.
EDIT: Just to be accurate, it will repeat in that box if you use one of the Pre-set Box Images, although it doesn't for custom images.
Alternatively, I recommend using Moddie's Mod for Custom Borders. This will allow you to utilize your current images (and
no
"fixed width"). He has a great detailed write up complete with cut and paste code and graphical illustration:

The only thing you can do is remove the borders from one or more columns of the page (left, center or right). You can also do this depending on which tab you are on, but you'll have to define the custom HTML for each column - read how to do that
here
.
