Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post
.

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Seems like i cant post more then 5 lines of html in the footer, it then cuts it off, which throws the script way off.
Whats up with this, anyone else have this problem?
How am i suppose to add the script to hide Edit buttons to the footer if the footer wont save the whole thing?

:) Yeah im aware of that, ive pretty much mastered the HTML and CSS editing part, it's just not allowing me to most more than 5 lines.
It is a paid for site, no banners, but we dont have a special webaddress. I'm not the host, so im not sure what is up with that.

I had that problem last week! I closed the browser, and went back to the editor, and it was working fine! Also I found out certain scripts won't work in the footer! Which I don't understand! That's why I'm a chef!

I had the same problem a while ago..
It seems that GP has actually TWO places to update the footer code/text and they are NOT the same.. I suppose its a remnant from an upgrade...
1- If you go to Control Panel/ Style and Colors .. don't choose anything else, just stay at the page in Style at colors.. there is one placeholder for 'Footer' there.
2- If you 'expand' the Style and Colors, and go to Style and Colors/Page Style/Footer .. thats the SECOND location.
For me, the one that worked ok was the one in the 'main' Style and Colors page.. the other one, under 'Page Style' kept cutting off at some 200 characters or so, I think..
Try them both, see what works for you...
