Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post
.

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Alright, I'm looking to make the
Forum Post Menu
(as shown on left of
Help Site
), except all I want from it is the collapsing menu, it doesn't need to bring up content in a box beside it. Basically a box with a list of collapsable links in it. Yay/nay?
Thanks

Ok, I figured it out mostly, though I did a lot of screwing around and may've wrecked something... The item is
here
The only issue is it's making the page load considerably slower than the other ones - is that my doing, or is the code just going to make that happen period?

Hi pinstripesc!
Hey nice work! Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I've been really busy and I think I remember reading this post and I guess I forgot to post a response.
Anyway, the code and setup looks good to me, I think the slowness of your page is probably from the officer list.

Squeezing tabs together?

Yeah I keep posting things before testing them, it was just that page in particular.
Another completely unrelated question though..I recall doing this on another site but it's since gone to unpaid status and doesn't offer the same navigation options so I can't reference it. I'm trying to set it up so that the (4) page navigation tabs sit right next to each other regardless of the rest of the page's width (sitting on a % right now) - right now they stretch out to fit the available space.
?

Hi Pinstripesc!
Did you try the css or script from
this post
? Since I wrote that post, an options to center the tabs was added to the Control Panel (Control Panel > Style Tools > Navigation Style > Nav Bar type > Dynamic Images > Tabs Alignment (in Bar) - set to Center).

Hm! Will that setup work for non-bar navigation? We currently have it set to show a different JPG/page with "Standard Tabs" navigation type ( preview
here
). I tried the CSS and it didn't seem to do it.
Much appreciated
EDIT: Ahhhuh nevermind I figured it out! *dies of happiness*
