Hi Aggrehstix!

Hmmm, ok I went to your Members page and clicked the "Rank" link across the top and it sorted the roster with the GM at the top, Core Officer, Officer Alt, etc.... isn't that what you wanted?

No I want it to autoamtically load with that setting active.  I want the sorting to occur not alphabetically but to sort when you click on member to go to that section I want it to sort the rankings and list gm to trial status sequentially from top to bottom.  I want the list to be loaded with the ranking already done as if you clicked the rank part but i dont want you to have to click rank.  i want it to load that way automatically.

Hi Aggrehstix!

That's a lot of wanting for one thing hehe... anyway, add this script to your footer area (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Footer Area)
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
 var t = $('.straightBarWrapperInnerTable').find('a[href*=2955515]');
 t.attr('href', t.attr('href') + '&WOWRSort=Rank');
})
</script>
This script is specifically written for your site, but if someone else wants to do the same thing (for a WOW roster page only), just replace the number in red with the tab ID of your roster page.

Thank you sooo much...It worked like a charm as always however the roster is not centered in its columns the column header does not match exactly with the text....a minor imperfection but I was wondering if you have any other suggestions.

Hi Aggrehstix!

Add the following CSS to your Custom CSS (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Custom CSS > CSS Additions to Standard tab) and make sure it is enabled before saving.
.gpWidget-gpwowautoroster th { text-align: left; }

Becoming Adept!

I am having the same problem where I want the default to be sorted by Rank.

I posted the script into the custom footer section and replaced the ID with my own site's tab ID, but still to no avail.

Does that code still work or is it outdated?

Hi Sqwirtle!

Ok, first you need to fix a major issue with your site... the custom javascript section (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Custom Javascript/JQuery) should only contain javascript! All the code you have in there now should be added to a Free Form Text/HTML widget while the editor is in HTML mode.

I didn't realize the tab bar was changed once again o.O... so you can add the following code to your Footer HTML (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Footer HTML). The Roster ID already matches your roster page (in red) so you don't need to modify the code, but anyone else that uses it will have to change it.
// Make Roster tab have rank sort by default
<script type="text/javascript">
 var rosterID = 3196296,

  // Don't change anything below
  sort = '&WOWRSort=Rank',
  r = $('table').find('td.tBold').find('a[href*=' + rosterID + ']');
 r.attr('href', function(i,h) { console.debug(h); return h + sort; });
 r.parent()[0].onclick = function(){ navTo('/Guild.aspx?GuildID=' + getGroupId() + '&TabID=' + rosterID); }
</script>

Does this script still work with the new data?  I'd like my Roster (page here) to have replaced ranks and be sortable, but neither function seems to be working any more.
