Raid Point Standings - Hiding Columns

This script hides columns in the raid point standings widget that you may not use (Att.Raids, M/SU and A/P). I've included before and after images below.

Before

 After

This is now a Mod
Control Panel > Site Mods > Get Site Mods >
Look for "Raid Point Standings - Hide Columns"

<script>
/* Rename the Member column only */
var raid_points_member = "Member";

/* Set the variable to "" to hide the column, or any name to leave it showing */
var raid_points_hide_characters = "Characters";
var raid_points_hide_dkp = "DKP";
var raid_points_hide_spent = "Spent";
</script>
Customizing
  • All of the above variables start out with "raid_points_" to keep it unique on the web page.
  • Only the variables named "raid_points_hide" are for columns that can be hidden.
  • Change the named column variable to "" (empty string) to hide that column, or modify the name of the column as desired to keep that column visible.
Edit (2/25/2010): Updated the code so this script will work properly with the Raid Point Sorting script.
Edit (3/23/2010): Changed the code to find the Column name and to make it work with the new raid point widget layout.
Edit (3/15/2011): Updated to work with new layout.
Edit (10/25/2011): Now a mod.
Edit (8/9/2012): Updated mod to allow renaming the columns and because some columns were removed.

Hi Mottie,

Great as usual.  I am wondering if we can match up your sorter with this?  I hid everything but names and points, but it did not align with sorter.  I tried to match the code in the sorter to match this and almost broke things.

Hi Keilana55!

Hmm, I guess I should have made them work together huh? LOL

I updated the code in the post above. I only added one line (in blue) so you could just add that one line in the right place

hmmm, it still did not change the sorting bar that you had created.

Hi Keilana55!

Is this code after (below) the raid point sorting script?

Yes, should it be on top or in another window?

Okay, I tried to put it on top and the same happened.  The columns hide, but the standings sorter does not changes, so they do not line up.

I am wondering if some coding needs to be changed in the raid sorting code?

No luck getting the hide feature and the sort feature to work in conjunction with each other.  The hide works fine, but the sorter still shows all of the lines that are not hidden so they no longer line up.  I hope I am explaining it well.

Got it to work.  Sorry, it was operator error.  Thanks!

Hi Mottie,

Does this feature and the sorting feature need to be updated since the GP changes?
