Hi I need some help please,

I'm looking to set my widget background to a tint so you can see the image in the background but tint the area behind the text in the widgets making it easy to read.

Here's my site so you can see what I mean.

Work around found, thanks to Lord Trist for the help.

.Go to photoshop
.File>new> any dimensions>white.
.Rename the layer to something else so it will unlock and let you edit it.
.Use the eraser and set it to max size and erase all the white from the layer it should look checkered after.
.Now select the paint bucket tool and paint the whole layer black or the desired tint colour.
.At the top your see the opacity (transparecny) option where u can edit the percentage, change that to say... 60% you can play with this for the desired transparency effect.
.File>save as> name.png
.Now host it on photobucket or upload it to your site> GP file manager and use URL address in Style tools>Content boxes (Widgets)>Body>Background Image.

This will apply the tint to all widget backgrounds.

Hi Nkitch77!

All you need to change in the css you have above is the image itself. Try this:
.gpWidget-forumslrg .ContentBoxBody { background-image: url('http://www.axiomfiles.com/Files/278466/bg-black-50.png'); }
I have background images in my site files that range from 50% to 100% (every 5%). So if you want to adjust the opacity of the background image, just change the number at the end of the file name:
bg-black-#.png (# = 50, 55, 60, 65... 100)
