Hi,

I'm looking to have a different image background for each page of my site , like forums , roster and so on.
I found a post and tried using this ...

.gpWidget-forumslrg .ContentBoxBody {
    background: url(http://imp.swtorwebsite.com/GuildFiles/393925/bounty-hunter-backdrop.png);
}

which has given me a new background image for my forums but the original main background is still there too, can any one give me a little help clearing this up.

Thanks

Found a way to create a blank background for each page using a bit of code I found on the splash screen thread.

Using a hidden Free Form Text/HTML widget I added ...

<style type="text/css">
    body { background: #000000; }
</style>

This changed the background for the page I added the widget to a blank black background instead of the image i set for my home page.
you can change the background to any color by changing the html color code shown in bold
just google html color codes for a list.

But for adding a different background image to each page I used this bit of code.....

<style type="text/css">
body { background: #000000 url(URL TO YOUR BACKGROUND IMAGE); }
</style>

Again this is all taken from Mottie's adding a welcome screen post and I'm sure there's an easier better way of doing it but as I had no luck finding how I thought I would post this just in case it helps some one.

*edit removed unneeded code, thanks Mottie*

Hi nkitch77!

Yep, that should work, I just wanted to add a note though about not including the <body>, </body>, <html> or </html> tags in a Free Form text/HTML widget.

Becoming Adept!

edited post as i found my answers.

ok i got it working cant seem to post the code i used as it gives an error but i changed the line with background in it to read: background-image:url ("image url here keep the quotation marks");
and it worked, took 2 nights of reading google to figure this out as i know zero about code lol. not sure if that was the correct way to accomplish this or not but it worked. Also found a post somewhere else, think it was motties, that showed how to hide the html box here. now on to find the next thing to break trying to improve the new site!
