If there's anyone else out there like me, our guild has a number of "member-only" and/or "super admin -only" tabs. When there's only 4-5 tabs the public can see, the second row on the navbar looks a little odd.

So I used Mottie's "Hide the Shoutbox from non-members" code to set our site up so that members/council/officers/admins see the second row, but the public/associates only see one row:

<script type="text/javascript">
 var accessLevel = "$block[userlevelname]";
 if (accessLevel.match('public|associate')) {
 } else {
  /*** This script will make your Standard Tabs into two rows ***/
 var navbar = $('table.TabBar');
 navbar.after( navbar.clone(true) )
  .find('td:odd').html('<div class="emptyTab"></div>');
  .find('td:even').html('<div class="emptyTab"></div>');

... I hope I did this properly, it seems to work  lol

Hi Devenrture!

The image you shared doesn't look like it would repeat horizontally to replace the dynamic images type of bar, so maybe you want to use the static images navigation style? Go to Control Panel > Style Tools > Navigation Style > Static Images tab.

If that isn't the style of navigation you want, I do have a thread with other tab style variations.
