Was wondering if there was a way to change the default "home" page for my site.

I want new users to view a page with just some flash animation.  They will click the animation to enter the site.

Existing users could just bookmark the main page.

Each tab has it's own URL. So you could create a new Tab called "Welcome" and have new members point to it.

In that tab, you could put a Freeform HTML window in the center that has your Flash animation that is "clickable" to send a person to your Home tab. You could hide this "Welcome" tab by assigning it a 1x1 pixel that matches your background or is transparent. Granted, all your other Tabs will be visible. (I thought about using Security settings to hide the other tabs, but that would render the rest of your site invisible to Rank 1s and non-members)

Another option is to have a seperately hosted page that has your Flash animation that ultimately points a person to your GP address.

Another idea would be to use another Free GP site to act solely as a pointer to your Real site. Delete all the default tabs and create a Welcome tab like in the first example.

Others may have better ideas.

Thanks for you input.

I thought about using another free GP site, but that would mean paying another fee for no ads.

I am leaning toward hosting the flash at another location.
