Fingers of Fury!

Hi Guys,
Thanks for maintaining a great community here at guildportal!

One quick question about embedding a webpage:

I have successfully embedded and scaled other webpages into our guild homepage before, however, I was provided with this...

<iframe src="http://www.webdkp.com/remote.php?id=3275&custom=1"
width="750"
height="100%"
style="padding:0px;margin:0px;border:0px"
frameborder=0>
</iframe>

...as a way of embedding our DKP numbers into our site from webDKP.com- the above was provided to me by the site as a means of doing so. However, I cannot figure out how to actually post it onto our site.  Ihave successfully embedded the "actual" webpage, but would love to usethe service provided above as our guild's quick & easy way ofchecking DKP at Guildportal.

Any advice on how/where to embed these lines?  I have tried using botha "free form/html" template, as well as an "embedded page" template. Perhaps I am doing something wrong... (?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When entering the code into a Freeform Container, make sure you switch to HTML mode ( in the lower left hand) before you paste the code.

Everdark is quite bright.

Thanks, man!  I got the page embedded as you suggested.

Only one problem:
Using the "free form/html" template I use the " <   >  "  HTML mode, then save, and refresh my guild's page.  However, the embedded page is quite small/clipped - is there a way to change the height? (not unlike the "embedded page" template provided through guildportal.)  Also, is there a way to center the HTML within the template?

I can provide a link to my page if it would help you (anyone) to see it.  Please don't feel obligated, either way.

In case you can't tell, I am about 3 weeks old in my computer/web experience.

Thanks again,
Unagi

You're welcome!

As for the height, try giving Height a pixel value (like you have for Width) instead of "100%".

I use an Iframe with my TSViewer and use pixel values to get it to the size I want. Percentages never seemed to work for me.

As for Centering, try switching back to Design Mode ( in the lower left), click in the window somewhere, then click on Center Align (Align Center in the middle row at the top). It basically adds <p align=center>  </p> tags around the Iframe tags.

Someone else with more HTML experience may know of a more fancy technique.

To you, sir, I tip my hat.    It all worked out - and, noted, when using percents in the future.

Take care!
