Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Hi
Äxenti!
You can change the width of your site from the Control Panel. Go to Control Panel > Style Tools > Page Wrapper, then on the right side you'll see "Width". It looks like you have yours set to 1240px. I'd recommend changing this to 98 percent. This way the page resizes to match the user's browser.
As for the error that IE is reporting, could you be more specific please.

ok i took it down to
98 percent like you said i hope it works but i have now an annoying border, i put it on no coler but it stays there.
the ie reports are that the contents like pictures or video contents in some cases don't show also the back ground is not there they say an the buttons of the site not there. in fire fox no problem also on google chrome no problem.
i looked in to this reports and i took a pc from work when i go to the site it is so that the reports are true i saw it my self.
already thanks for the advice ;-) but its stupid to go live with our site if it dusnt work properly

Hi
Äxenti!
Ok, I see a problem with IE in that your welcome page doesn't work properly. Also, you are placing the entire site inside an iframe which might also be causing problems with IE.
I would recommend this:
Put your Welcome page flash and images on your http://www.visionnet.nl/goh/ site. The problem with using flash on the welcome page is that the script moves all the welcome (splash) page contents to a new location - IE doesn't work very well with flash when this is done. So it gets a lot more complicated to make it work properly (using a plugin is part of it). So the easiest solution would be to use your other web site for this.
Instead of using frames to contain the GuildPortal site, just direct to your home page from your http://www.visionnet.nl/goh/ site. Having all the content inside an iframe does break some of the scripts I have on my help site, but if you aren't using any then it should be a big problem. But I think IE does have some rendering issues with it like adding the border you described.

Well i'm actually not a big IE friend anyways but the visitors may use it so thats why i guess i wanted to know what the problem was.
the redirect of visionnet.nl is not mine its from i friend he wanted to help me with the link issue that it was to difficult for invites in game.
i don't gonna ask him space to put up our intro page i may be happy that i may use it for the auto forwarding.
so i gonna keep it like it is sadly on IE it wont work so well, but whats new hey
I advice on our guild home page to install ff or google chrome anyways because IE don't support all the scripting that i use from your help site. i find it rather a flaw of Microsoft not of the work on your scripts or the way i use it.
Tankspot and blizzard advice ff to because of the protection issue on IE and i agree i had already some attacks that way thats why i don't use it and in fact IE is slow most of the time to so i have many arguments to give our guildies the advice to install a alter browser ;-)
I'm not really a web designer i just try to find my way with the stuff i find on my way and try to keep it clean and easy ;-)
i would take your advice on if i had an own site but its difficult to ask my friend to make some space for our site in the first place the guy uses this site for hes work, auto forwarding is one thing but taking space is a noter.
thanks for the advise and the good scripts you provided on motties site
