The new table system and wizard sucks, guys.  Once you finally get the layout into something half acceptable, typing text into it jacks it right back up.

And God knows if I try and paste in a spreadsheet from Excel.....  used to work fine.  Now it looks like a drunk 3 yr old did it in crayon.

Add to that the fact that now I try to insert a picture, post, then have to edit and go into the picture editor to remove the gratuitous space (%20) that it keeps trying to add.

These and several other recent "upgrades" are making GuildPortal look and work worse than ever.

Sometimes "tweaks" may look better, but the way GPortal worked before is what has drawn so many of us to it.  Now changes like this have me looking for a new place to set up shop.  If things aren't switched back to what actually worked, I have a feeling my subscription will be far from the only one lost.

I agree....when you cannot even post a simple image there is going to be an issue! When can we expect to have things back to normal and working again??

After 2 years of being a paid subscriber I also agree lately GP has gone down hill. They added a new style of editor which doesnt work for crap. Adding embedded links for videos etc are doubling up with script text inbetween the 2 videos that I have to constantly fix. Ive already been looking for a new home. One that has caught my eye was www.wowguilds.ca

I disagree with the 3 above posts.  Yes there are now problems with GP that we used to not have.  But this is what happens when developing web sites.

These are just growing pains that are almost unavoidable when trying to build more functionality into an existing system.  I know because I am a web developer (not for GP though)

If you guys really want to help get GP back to normal quickly, submit the errors/problems you are having to GP's technical team.

These problems shouldn't last for more than a month according to my experiences.  And in the end, you will have better websites because of it.

If you are going to fix things at least try to test the coding first. As a paid subscriber we aren't here to beta test your new system. I can see how this frustrates a of customers.

That is actually a pretty good argument.  Maybe GP should consider having a beta section for us site admins to test out the new code.

I'd be willing to do that.  I actually loved the new editor, minus the bugs of course!  Stretchable, better Icons, larger color pallette, more control.
