Mottie made some suggestions earlier for editing the #guildGloBar CSS tag.  I tied making a few tag changes but they didn't work.  One in particular, HEIGHT, present a problem.  Here is the current code from my site:

#guildGloBar {
    border-top-left-radius: 10px;
    border-top-right-radius: 10px;
    bottom: 0;
    height: 22px !important;
    padding-bottom: 5px;
    padding-top: 3px;
    position: fixed;
    right: 10px;
}

As you can see, height has the important modifier.  So, when I try adding my own height code, it does not overwrite it, even when I also use the important modifier.

This leads me to ask, how do I adjust height for the guildGloBar?

Another, bigger, question I've run into in modifying existing CSS is how to remove CSS tags.  Let's say that in the code above, I wanted to remove the "position: fixed;" line.  I don't want to change it, just remove it.  How do I do that?

Bear in mind, I am using a standard GP theme on my site that has been heavily modified.  I don't want to change the entire theme, just override (or in this case remove) individual CSS codes.  I can usually figure out how to override one but not how to remove one built into the theme.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I've tried using a full CSS sheet (using the "Full Custom CSS" tab) and it doesn't change either.  If I edit the guildGloBar tag there, GuildPortal seems to override it, even if I have the "Disable all GuildPortal CSS Output" box checked.

I'll remove the default !important on the 22px height. From what I tested on dev using a custom css addition, it does the trick.As for removing tags, you're really going to need to just set the value to the default (which is the same as not having it there at all). In the case of "position," the default value is "static". More on positioning elements here.

There's a larger problem here.  Even when I am using "full custom css", enabled with "Disable all GuildPortal CSS Output" checked, GuildPortal is adding in a LOT of CSS.  Look at the css sheet:

http://remnant.guildportal.com/UI/GpCss.ashx?stylesheet=Guild171949_108.css

Starting at line 2176, you see:

#guildGloBar {
    border-top-left-radius: 10px;
    border-top-right-radius: 10px;
    bottom: 0;
    height: 50px !important;
    padding-bottom: 5px;
    padding-top: 3px;
    position: fixed;
    right: 10px;
}

That's what is in my custom css.  Now, starting at line 2723, there's this:

#guildGloBar {
    border-top-left-radius: 10px;
    border-top-right-radius: 10px;
    bottom: 0;
    height: 22px !important;
    padding-bottom: 5px;
    padding-top: 3px;
    position: fixed;
    right: 10px;
}

That is not in my custom CSS.  Guildportal is adding that whole code, duplicating what I have.  Why is GuildPortal injecting whole blocks of code into my CSS?

Ahhh I see. Fixing it in dev, will push a hotfix shortly.

There are going to be a few utility classes that are left in (mTop, mBottom, tBold, clearFix, etc), but that'll be it.
