 Welcome to the Fellowship of the Golden Night at GuildPortal!

Welcome, If you're a new user!

Please fill out the form, (new user), to create your Fellowship of the Golden Night (FotGN)/GuildPortal account, which will allow you to apply to join the guild.

If there is a green check mark in the "Apply Now" box, we will apply to the guild on your behalf at the same time your account is created.  You will need to fill out our application we have configured after your user account has been added.

Now would be a good time to introduce you characters and join the fun. If your character isn't fully rounded and definate yet it doesn't matter, visual description doesn't have to list all the equipment. Also no-one gives their full history in the first five minutes of meeting someone. Esp a large group.

Roleplaying through a few scenarios might give a better idea of who your character is aswell.

So what are you waiting for?

(P.S. A thorough knowledge of the back story isn't required but some aspects could be used well as part of your introduction. We, as a group have been pivotal in the defence of the city, fighting alongside the city guard on the walls against Goblins and Trolls.)

Guild Ettiquette
  1. Treat Fellow gamers with respect at all times.
  2. Respect the rules as laid down by the Dungeon Master (Turbine) Breaking them will see you removed from the Guild.
  3. Dont bother applying to this guild if at any point your hands are not doing the work of your character. (3rd party macro's will not be tolerated)
  4. Your character may be the moodiest bastard going, but remember strangers dont know him, be friendly until they know him. Or at least send them a friendly tell
  5. Theft / scamming from other players will not be tolerated and will result in your removal from the guild
  6. We play DDO to escape reality, in this fantasy world please use the guild chat channel IN GAME context. Real life emergency tells are acceptable..
  7. Remember that we are a rolepaying guild and if that means you have to die so that the greater story can be told. Do so.
  8. Be aware of your signature on the forums, we dont want any negative associations from questionable views.

Guild Oaths and Laws

  1. When we hunt, we hunt as a group. Unwanted spoils are offered to the group first, then it is personal preference over alts or guild members.
  2. Guild members are encouraged to attend guild meetings whenever possible and to add to the event.
  3. Good communication is the key to a succesful guild, if you feel that you are not being heard then speak louder, your Officer or the Council will listen
  4. Internal guild matters that cannot be solved between the parties WILL be solved by the Council. Our word is binding.
  5. Your Guild is your family, it'll risk it's neck to save yours, you are to to risk yours for it and any other guildsman in need.
  6. There will be no excuses for grudges, personnal vendettas or even open bias between guild members. If you're not happy about someone tell them, if you're told, learn and change. If you're not happy bring it to the Council.
  7. This guild is cross race, profession, colour, creed, sexuality and  political direction, reconsider rule 6.
  8. Open theft or cowardice willl be treated in the most stringent of manners as directed by the Council.
  9. All inter guild communications should be through Officers or those specifically directed by the Council.
  10. Bringing the name of the Guild into disrepute will be possibly the last thing you do.

Also at present you can only see our Public forums and not the Members forums.
