Yes, there are different levels of usefulness with the dragonshards though.

Firstly, dragonshard refers to the type of crystal, of which there are two types:  Khyber and Siberys.

Secondly, there are quality indicators for each:  Fragment, Imperfect, etc.  These would govern their usefulness in instances.  3 of the qualities (suchc as Imperfect) are useful in the Trap the Soul spell as well as feat respecs, the others are combinable into "larger" versions of the shards or in binding.  If using them for feat respecing, then Fred won't let you use just any, it has to be level appropriate, and the quality of the shard helps to determine the max HD of monster you can trap with the spell.

Praut, regarding the goggles:

The guild that crafted them hasn't released a recipe, and I don't know (think) that they will. They posted it in the Tier 2 Recipes thread on the DDO forums, basically under the tone of "Hey, this is what we found, and can still upgrade this once more. Not bragging or anything, but he's what a Tier 2 Recipe is capable of."

The recipe for the goggles was just posted, looks like someone made a 1/day true resurrection morningstar as well.

The post is really shaping up and the author is doing a great job making it cleaner every day and keeping up with the updates and tips he gets.



BTW, if anyone is not going to be using any of their crafting components, I am willing to take, buy or trade for them.

I am unable to play again until sometime this weekend it looks like and want to be making a green steel blank or two if possible for testing.

Send anything to Versatillas, or send me a PM here for an offer/etc.
