While Dalharil's physical self stayed close to Juryrig, her dreaming mind took the information her life had taught her, and shuffled it together like a deck of cards.

She dreamt of her parents:  ma with her beautiful liquid songs and the delicious comfort foods- da with his work-rough hands and simple words of wisdom. The care with which they raised her was evident to Dallie, and with the knowledge a gentle, unfamiliar voice spoke 3 syllables: ah gaw pay.

Next the kaleidoscope shifted and turned to Big Bard Biggun and his Icy Lady. She got the sense that if something tragic were to happen, and one be forced to continue on alone, that they would be somehow diminished... less than... as if they were actually 2 parts of a whole. She could recognize the same qualities in them that her parents displayed toward each other. That same, whispery voice seemed richer, more intimate as it spoke: air ohss

Then, it seemed as if she were looking down at the still forms of Juryrig and herself: her body appeared so tiny cradled against the warforged's chest, and the arms that clung even in sleep to his neck appeared frail and childlike. Trust was written in every line of the halfling's body, and exquisite care showed in the way Juryrig kept her from being disturbed while she rested. She could see for herself that here was an unbreakable bond of friendship. With this revelation she let go her anger at Varro and Uxor as she could recall the respect they shared with each other. And again her parents came to mind in a million tiny actions that declared they were friends before ever anything else... and by their example had they taught her to recognize and cherish something of incalculable value. The voice of her dream seemed to exude a certain satisfaction as it breathed across the realms of morpheus: fee lay oh.

She didn't recognize the words she was given, but she didn't need to understand the vocabulary to understand the lesson. There are 3 types of love. Agape from selfless parents, Eros for the passion between lovers, and Phileo for the fellowship of companions.
