Well, it's that time again.  I've reached the next step of my journey.  It's sometimes hard to think that I have traveled so far and wide.  I arrived on the airship, at the Marketplace spire in Stormreach.  This city seems quite vast.  I never realized that a place could be so..., diverse.  I see at least four of the major houses represented here.  Phiarlian, Deneith, Jorasco and Kundarak.  Each has their own enclave, which are quite extravagant, and each to their own tastes.  I have taken the time to travel each, and talk with the representatives of each place.


They seem to have quite a lot to offer for those of the adventuring persuasion.  I've always thought that adventuring tells you so much about a city, so I have taken to it with a bit of relish.  So many places to see, so much to do.  Honestly, it depends on where you are as to whether it is worth mentioning some of the jobs.  Phiarlian and Tharanni seem to be at each other's throats still.  Many kobolds infest area's of the harbor district.  Hobgoblins have a holdout in an underground complex underneath the marketplace.  And there are so many places to go.  Between Tangleroot Gorge, Three barrel Cove, the Ruins of Gianthold, it seems so vast the things you can do here.  The Twelve even seem to have their own enclave in the city.

I stopped by a tavern last night.  Met a pair of elves, Hoch and Aluatris.  They both seemed nice.  Hoch, as I learned, is also of Aereni descent, although for some unexplained reason bears bitterness and hatred against our people.  Aluatris also seems to be quite nice, although as she tells me she is not completely of elven descent.  While some of our race would hold that against her, I believe inside her beats a heart of gold.  The pair intrigue me, and I would like to get to know them more.

I should be about the city today.  I feel my strength building each day.  I know this is where I am to be, as I can hear the call here quite strongly.  Why here is the place, I have no clue, but all shall be revealed in time.

And with that, I shall leave it.  I need to be going, I hope to see more of the city today.
