*General Torkadius ThornShadow, a rather tall and hard-looking man with impeccable military bearing enters his ally's guildhall*

He speaks:  "Greetings Friends!" as he extends his hand warmly.  "I bring news of some raids an associate of mine is planning for members of the Order of the Sword and Rose in the near future, however he has some concerns that we may require assistance if all of our members who are capable of such endeavors are not able to attend due to scheduling conflicts.  I was wondering if any of you may wish to join us if we are unable to field sufficient numbers for these raids, which will be led by Tryxtr DeathWalker, Clan Warleader and Vulk n'tash of Clan DeathWalker."

"Even if we do field sufficient numbers in the Order to accomplish these tasks, I would certainly relish the opportunity to discuss tactics with any of you who have faced similar challenges and have wisdom to impart which will help us in this endeavor."

Torkadius then waits politely for his allies to speak.

((We are doing an all OSR Raid weekend 3 weeks from now where we will hit all 4 raids - Tempest Spine, VON, Demon Queen, and Titan.  We are hoping to keep it in house, but are not completely sure yet if we will have enough available that weekend to make a successful go of it.  If any of you are interested in helping last minute with little warning, please let me know here or in game.  We as a guild have very little experience in raids, but wish to tackle them ourselves if we can.  I would like to set up a joint raid weekend however with your folks and Crimson Nexus, and us sometime after the next module comes out.))

*Uxor smiled and bowed low, then penned out on a parchment* 'I can say with confidence that there are those among our ranks who would gladly offer their aid to you. After all, what are allies for? Should you require extra forces for your endeavours, please call upon us to fill out your assault forces. I can only hope that should we require the same assistance, we could do likewise' *and she smiled broadly*

((If I'm about feel free to send a tell and I will see who I can rustle up. Any of the officers/members are happy to help - and while many of us are not as readily versed in the raid encounters, we are happy to help in any way we can. Heck I've only ever gone to see the Dragon twice - in one night lol - so my personal experience with the raid encounters is very limited. However, I'm also a willing listener and anyone who DOES have knowledge ... lead, and I will follow.
We also can empathize with planned nights going awry due to scheduling conflicts for folks. Be it an in or out of character raiding spree, you can count on some of us to help!

On our end, we are still planning for our in character roleplaying Dragon Run. Ideally I am looking to assemble a 'team' for the event, to help the characters roleplay a little more heavily in the dungeon. i.e. not just random strangers who came together, but a unit who has 'trained' together as it were. I wouldn't call it a static group exactly, because I know some folks have RL issues that might make them unavailable on a given night.

What I need to see is how many folks have already gotten their flag, so I can finish building the team. Any of the OSR who already have their Dragon Flag and are interested in a Heavy Roleplay Dragon Run are more than welcome to volunteer for the opportunity.

I have taken a Dragon run with the OOC community and captured a majority of it on Fraps, so in the coming weeks I'll be reviewing the footage to better get the idea of what happens when. This will not be a problem IC, as for our IC run we've established that crushing Velah is not a 'permanent' fix to the Dragon problem. Groups don't eliminate Velah, they merely disrupt her temporarily, and constant/diligent efforts are required to keep her at bay for the safety of Stormreach. Hence, it is not unlikely for there to be certain members of the team who are already familiar with the pitfalls and dangers of taking on the Dragon in the Vault of Night.

When we are ready to do the IC Dragon run on our end, I will also put out notice and reminders to the Dragon Ready. Anyone who is Dragon Ready, please be so kind as to list your name, so I have a list of able bodies who I can call upon.
